Today is the beginning of the end of the first decade of this millennium. As you travel through your mental history books, the past 10 years have certainly been, well… important to say the least. Many good things and plenty of bad things have defined the decade, but something I’ve learned this year (in poker terms) is one should never make bets based on what has already been lost. This idea has inspired The Motivated Youth to some degree – the idea that our actions shouldn’t be based on the past. Of course learn from mistakes, but even the things that worked before may not work this time around, it’s a whole new hand we’re playing with.
We welcome you to our web site, as today also marks the launch of TheMotivatedYouth.com – The site will be updated frequently as we, a handful of contributors, share our perspective on who, why and what to do. This will be our platform for announcing events, gathering support, and spreading good ideas.
